As Natrosol hydroxyethylcellulose molecular weight decreases, spatter resistance increases. However, the associative Natrosol Plus modified hydroxyethylcellulose gives better spatter resistance than even the lowest molecular weight grade of Natrosol hydroxyethylcellulose.
