"Making Strides Against Breast Cancer"

On a crisp fall morning in October, 27 Hercules employees from the Wilmington locations joined the ranks of over 5800 walkers and racers for the American Cancer Society's "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk" in Wilmington, Delaware. So far, a record setting $425,000 has been raised.  The Hercules team has collected ~$4,661 , which includes a $1,000 corporate grant and $331.50 raised from a bake sale at the Research Center in September. Donations continue to be accepted.

A 5K race was held where three Hercules racers participated, Ariena Bakker, Kim Frerichs and Liz Hunt. Ariena won Third Place in her age bracket with a time of 26:52!

Team co-captains were Karen Hama (Plaza), Liz Hunt (RC) and
Janet Sokolnicki (CSD).
