Ashland in China

Our operations in China are growing rapidly and include major manufacturing facilities in Shanghai, Kunshan, Changzhou, Nanjing, Beijing, Tianjin and Jianmen. To provide application and analytical services to local customers, we operate a technical center for Ashland Specialty  Ingredients in Nanjing and two technical centers in Shanghai for customers of Ashland Performance Materials and Ashland Water Technologies.

A world-scale manufacturing plant in Nanjing Chemical Industry Park opened in December 2010 and is producing Natrosol™ hydroxyethylcellulose (HEC) products for a wide variety of industrial and consumer products, including latex paints, paper coatings and personal care products.
